Hey all farmall guys thought you might enjoy some ice breaking with my M Farmall with full steel. Early 1940 unrestored but effective.

Flatproof tires.Cool!I love it!one of a kind.lots more impressive than a "complete rustoration"-don't change a thing!

What does that vertical piece of angle iron rising from the drawbar do? Is that a seat overload protector?

With steel wheels, solid seat, and frozen ground, have you thought about getting all the vertebrae in your back fused?

Nice looking tractor though. I would like to have a tractor on steel.

Gota be a ruff ride. Made my back hurt looking at it. I bet it goes through the deep snow good though. The 450 paint job is ok but I liked the paint job on the post of the pulling tractor a little better.

Sweet looking M. I have heard that paint scheme called the M&W paint or the 560 scheme. Seems some dealers painted them like that when they installed the hp kits.

What size are the rear tires on your M in this pic? They look awesome on there too.

Seems some dealers liked to paint with the latest style... Dad bought a '53 JD 60 in 1958 with a fresh -20 series paint job. Maybe to make the neighbors think you got a new tractor.

How's she ride in 5th gear?? I imagine 5th is locked out like it's supposed to be.....Wanna know how to unlock it?

5th gear is locked out like it should be and as long as you are on soft ground it rides nice but hard ares shake the s#*t out of you and the tractor. I have plowed with this more than once and rides nice till you climb over a rock in the ground or furrow. It was painted with white nose a long time ago and just decided to leave it as it is to play with it and not have to worry about scratches or battle scars. Thanks for looking everybody and the great comments!

Forgot to comment , that is a side hill hitch that some asked about . Works great for plowing as well just shift drawbar and away you go no plow hitch changing. Thanks
