D310 fuel pump

I need a good fuel injection pump for a 715 with a d310 german diesel engine. Anybody have a good one for sale. Thanks in advance
 
Good luck,they are hard to come by.I pd $500 for a used one-looked for 2-3 years.reman or a rebuilt will be your best bet.
 
The local diesel repair shop said some parts are hard to get and the repair bill can get very expensive. Anybody know about the conversion process to retrofit a Stanadyne fuel pump on a 310
 
You can use the updated pump from the D312-maybe others.you will have to bend the lines around to fit.The last Ichecked(4yrs) a factory reman was $1000,wholesale.
 
Is the D312 pump a straight bolt in operation or is there other modifications besides the lines that must be made?
 
The D-312 injection pump is a american bosch 100 series and the drive shaft runs engine speed and dist head has reduction gear to half engine speed. The German Bosch on the 310 runs half engine speed so there would be major changes to use the pump from a D-312. I am not aware of any adaptor to use Stanadyne Roosa Master either. If your pump works well except for the leak, have a pump shop just replace those o-rings and take your chances. Oh I know, they want to totally go through pump. That is to protect their rear. Worst part of working on that pump is getting to it on a combine.
 
Thanks Pete, I will get the O rings replaced and go from there. Engine is hard to start needs a shot of starting fluid but runs good after its started.
 
There is one on ebay right now. Might get it cheap enough for just the parts. A pump of a 310 and 358 is the only pump that fits this German motor. 312 is IH American motor and a 312 pump won't fit or work on the German motor.
 
Worthington Ag Parts offers a kit to install a Standyne injection pump on a German engine. Kit comes complete with a new pump for a little over a grand last time I checked.
