i was out plowing snow this morning when the hydraulics just quit working none of the valves work. the last thing it did was raise the 2pt. so i took the safety valve apart and found a bad part put another one in that was good. that didn"t fix it so i remove the filter in the reservoir and it was dirty but not plug tight. then i pulled the safety valve housing off and started it and the oil only dribbles out. is it possible for the pump just to go out like that. any help appreciated.

I believe it can shear Woodruff Keys on the pump gear to shaft. If it is a Diesel it will have a counter rotating pump. Does the distributor turn, will it start? Jim

Any word on what happened and how it was fixed? Mine did the same recently except it puked out a ton of fluid.
