What motor is in the 606 Diesel tractor??

Now that apparently the tractor has been identified as the 606diesel what motor family is it. Do these series motors have a history of head problems as the son thinks the head gasket is blown. What is the displacment. Will any combines replace this motor??

d236, basicly the same as 460D and that family engine, d282, and d301, there is a little differance between the one in a 460d and your 606, and yes they are know to have head gasket problems and head cracks
