1938 f20 rims

I have a 1938 f-20 with 36" rear wheels. It has the cast iron centers and removable rim. The rim is a split rim and the removable outer ring is shot. The rim itself is ok but the ring is to far gone with rust to salvage. Does anyone know where of if I can get that ring or if worst a whole new rim. Thanks alot for the help!!
 
If you cant find one you can use 38 inch rims off an H or M with those cast centers. I have seen it done. Where are you located? I may have a useable lock ring but not sure. Have to go hunt in the shed.
 
As ROBGON stated, you can use M style 38 inch rims. I would recommend the 38 inch rims. You will find that you can get much better buys on 38 inch tires than you can on 36 inch tires.

I have a set on a 1939 H, they look good from the outside - but they still have rubber on them so I don't know what kind of shape they are really in. I have plans to switch over to '38 rims. if you aren't in a hurry, shoot me your phone number and I'll give you a holler when I get them off.

I'm in KC, the tractor is near Salina, KS at the family farm. but I stress not being in a hurry - I work for a planter manufacturer and during planting season I don't have much time for myself. I probably won't touch the tractor again until June or July. and then I'll need to sort out some motor problems before I buy new 38" rubber for the other rims that I have.

I don't know what I'll want for them - but I don't want to split up the pair either.

If you going to be in Iowa, try Franzenfamilyparts.com/usedparts.html. They should be able to hook you up with a rim or ring. THey have a bunch of F-20s.
