Super M Stage question

At what serial # did they change from the Super M stage 1 (battery under tank) to Super M Stage 2 (battery under seat)?
What live power Super M stage 3?
Did all stage 2 super M come with live power or did some use the belly pump?

Thanks

SM F501 to F28174 and L50001 to 504801 were stage 1. F28175 and 504802 and higher numbers were stage 2. 60001 was the start of stage 3 or commonly called SMTA tractors. At the start of stage 2 some features and controls of the tractors was changed so the live hydraulic parts could be fitted to the tractors. Tractors could still come with no hydraulic, transmission driven liftall or engine driven liftall. So you can find stage 2 SM with both types of hydraulic.

Per the TC-46 (Super M) parts catalog, Stage 1 S/N's run from F-501 to F-28174 and L-500001 to L-504801.

Stage 2 are F-28175 and L-504802 and higher.

The Stage 3 actually the Super M-TA. M-TA serial numbers are 60001 and up.

The Stage 2 live hydraulic pump was a delete option; the older belly pump was optional equipment.

I suspect one could also order a SM with no hydraulics whatsoever.
