I have a 1949 Farmall H - I am the proud second owner. Right now it will turn over and start but not keep running, after a minute it stalls. I can start it again but it just wont stay running past a minute. when I put it in gear it just poops out. So after some research and folks brighter than me they said rebuild the carb. so I went and got the # off of it - G212DB but the carb kits for H"s are not for that carb. what should I do? does anyone know this carb - the number is cast into the main body of it.

The number you need is on a small, round, brass tag. It is located on top of the carb, right where the governor tube attaches.
