Where can I get a new muffler for my SC that sounds original. There are a lot of Stanleys on Ebay but I doubt they have the right sound. There used to be a Marks Tractor that sold repo mufflers but I haven't been able to locate a site for him. Thanks

I had the same problem. I have an A with the original muffler it is great. The Bn has a Stanley on it and very loud. I was sent this info so thought it might help. Also search farmall forum of other options.

Get one from Mark"s Tractors. I am sure everyone on this forum will agree with me. I"ve heard them, and they are really nice!!! His contact info is 217-694-4735. He makes them to original IH blueprints so it has the correct baffleing and the correct size outlet, 1 3/4". I believe you"d be VERY happy with one of his mufflers.

Marks mufflers are the best you will find. It appears he is hard to get a hold of as he is a full time farmer as well and that is his priority and I doubt he has a website or even an email address he shares. If you can't contact him at 217-694-4735 you might try Ron Berlage of Pilot Knob Restorations who might have access to the same mufflers that Mark has made. Ron's phone is 815-777-0826 and both live in Illinois. Good luck but worth the effort, Hal.
