Help Identify This Seat Assembly?

I recently restored an Empire Tractor. Since they were largely component tractors, like the Earthmaster, this seat assembly must be from some other more popular machine. The bottom is a solid plate with a small nub to anchor the coil spring, which is not visible here, any thoughts? I've not seen one like it.

Empires mostly used 'Monroe style' seat assemblies with the long shock up the back. Thanks.

As far as i know that pan with the rails on it was only used on the early Farmall H and M and similar.
So I'd say you have a Farmall pan. The conical spring is Monroe and likely correct for the Empire. I'd guess the frame is farmer modified but you would have to look at pictures of other Empires and see what they have. If you see several the same it may be safe to assume they are original.

Hey Ken - The seat on my Super H looks is almost identical. Only difference the seat frame member on mine is a single piece of round tubing with a bend in the middle. Your seat frame appears to a 2 piece, square tubing weldment?
