Any body have a source for the springs that go in the chain tensioners? IH dealer says they're retired

Go to the nearest hardware store,go tothier spring display,find the one that is the closest match.go with that one.

if its the large coil tension spring in the picture, it looks a lot like a hood hinge spring for an older car or pickup truck. maybe take a wander tru a salvage yard and see if you can match up something close.
