Carter carb parts?

I am looking for a choke shaft,
choke disc, and throttle disc for a carter 652 carb. does anyone have any idea when I can look?

if you would look up carter carbs there will be lots of info where to get parts.

Find a good carburetor overhaul shop and most can match you up or make them pretty quick.

I have looked up Carter carbs and found everything except the parts I am searching. If you find them, please point me in the right direction. I will try and see if there is a carb shop somewhere near me but I am doubtful....

I was hoping someone had a "sure-thing" source for these parts off-the-shelf.

It funny that I have the same carb on two tractors so I would assume it is pretty common. Neither Steiners nor Denny"s carb shop have these parts listed in their catalog or web site.

You will be money and time ahead to just scrap the Carter and replace it with a Zenith or Marvel-Schebler. Both of which are still available brand new.

McDonald carb has a website, but I didn't find anything for a Carter. Not even a basic kit.

It's hard to find parts for the Carter Carbs! Usually only the most basic kits are available. If you have real problems, best to replace it with a Zenith. There are a couple of carter carb kits available on this site, but not all the parts you need.

I hate to just scrap the carb because of a few bad parts. It might last another sixty years!

Gene, in all fairness I haven't called either. I search both catalogs and web sites with no results. My experience with Steiner is that if it isn't in their catalog then they don't have it. I don't know thats the case with Denny's. I'll call them as well. Thanks for the good advice.

Neither Steiner or Denny's can help. Denny's actually never returned my call.

I still need a choke shaft and plate for a Carter ut.

Any help would be appreciated.

You won't find those parts unless you buy a complete, used carburetor, and then it will probably be worn out also. I have the basic kits in stock, and I have been searching for several years to find the floats and assorted other pieces and parts for the Carter. Believe me, the Carter is an OBSOLETE item. The only answer is to buy a brand new Marvel-Schebler or a Zenith.
