Oil for a Farmall H Mag??

What does everyone use to oil a Farmall H mag? I use to use 3 in 1 oil but my cousin gave me some machine spindle oil and was wondering if that would be ok? He uses that spindle oil to oil his Cub distributor felt? Thanks!

that is probably one of the things that not everyone does. dont see a problem with it as its getting oiled, maybe can call that oil 4 in 1 oil.

I don't see why it would hurt. I use just about anything. However for a generator it is best just to give a little down that cap. there is such a thing as getting too much down in there
