Super C hydraulic ?'s

My cousin's Super C's fast hitch is laboring the engine and barely goes down. Up is fine, smooth, fast and with no strain on the motor. Fluid is full. It acts like our 460 and 560 did when those hydraulic valves needed tweeked. Could there be a similar adjustment on the old C some where? Thanks for any help.

There is a link rod to the position valve that is not adjusted correctly. The procedure is in the book, but it can be done by just adjusting it till it works correctly. I do not know if it needs to be longer or shorter. Put adjusting a Super C hydraulic valve in the archives and see what comes up. Jim

There is a block at the base of the seat that both hydraulic lines go through on the way to the Fasthitch cyclinder. It prevents the hitch from falling too fast with a heavy implements. There is a piston in there that may be stuck or dirty. I bypassed mine thinking I would fix it later. It's still disassembled and later hasn't arrived yet. I'm not too motivated to fix it as it works good without it.
