1568 IH Whats it worth?

I know were a 1568 V8 still runs on 4 at an idel. Needs some TLC, Tork is questionable but engine runs good. I know that one fixed up nice is in the $15 to $20.000 range. Has 66 series cab and hub duals. I am wondering if it would make a good project to redo and use and show. My dad had one years ago and I allways liked its sound and roar! Its in the $4500 range. I am interested in the tractor but not sure what to think. Bandit
 
Buy it. Most guys will say that the v-8 is a dog, but 4500 dollar range is good. Its definitly a collecter
 
Buy that thing NOW. If it runs and drives it alreay worth $10 000. There was only 862 of those tractors made and they are very collectable. I own a 1468 and i wish i coulda bought it for $4500. Keep us updated on this
 
I will take a closer look at it and take a pic or 2 and see what happens and let you guys know. I was thinking they made more than 862 of them. Bandit
 
Sounds like a buy to me. I'd love to have one of those someday, but the prices have really shot up over the last several years. They are very collectable, but it's kinda funny how the popularity of rare tractors affect their value. I have a rare Minnie, 370 built, and only 20 in 1965 (my year), but still not worth a lot. Red and green is where the money's at.
