403 combine engine?

What gas engine does a 403 combine have in it?

Hillside machines would have at least a 282, later machines might have a 301? not positive on the larger displacement right now but have been told that some had bigger engines than the 282 in mine. Mike

I have a very late 1970, and it has the C-263. Are you looking at the combine to use, or take the engine? I may be interested in combine parts if you are only taking the engine.

Not sure yet, may keep just the engine to use as a power unit on a well, have no need for the combine. Reply to my email and will let you know.

The 403 had the 263 engine the same as the 560 gas and the hillside had the 282 and you could order the 345 if you had the money. The 345 was really rare.
