Could be sucking air at the intake manifold. Its easy and free to check - make sure carb and manifold are tight and no holes rusted through. When its skipping if you partally apply the choke and it stops skipping but starts to smoke a little its a good sign of an air leak.Could be electrical - mine runs rough when its time to change points.Could be a weak plug. You'll have to decide where to start based on last time you did a tune up. Probably other posibilities but they're beyond my knowledge level.

They put those farmhouses close together there, Here in SD they are about a mile apart. :)
Where do you keep the cows, chickens and hogs?

Sorry but I haven't lived on the farm for about 40 years.I am in my second childhood. My wife is letting me collect my toys.It is the best looking tractor on the block the only other one is a JD MT belonging to my brother-in-law. Bill

Bill; I don't know where you get to work your toy, but I like that front plow. Ain't nothing like plowing snow going straight ahead. Several years ago I had a hydraulic angle blade on a 240U; dummy me, I should have kept that blade as they go for a pretty penny now. Peeking real hard, I think I see chain tighteners; are your tires loaded and/or weights? It appears your H has it's own parking spot ready for the next workout. You're smart as your hinder may be cold, but it will be snow free and dry. I recall folks posting about carb ice-up problems on yt. Hope your H is healed soon. GordoSD's comment still has me laughing. Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like you had fun!

Next time you go back to the Farm Show, because you cannot go just once, need to catch the tractor square dance - pretty entertaining.

If you cannot catch it in person, PCN usually has it one their Farm Show broadcast during the week.
