Source for asphalt coated loom dzeus hood fittings?

Anyone have a favorite, afordable source for the original style asphalt coated cotton loom for wiring conduit? I"m thinking 1/2" might be the right size.

Also, I thought I"d try one more time to find dzeus hood fittings. The following picture is on EOM"s website but there is no "buy now" button, I called them and they said they don"t currently carry them. I thought I"d try one more time before cutting out the s-shapred springs and putting in nuts-n-bolts. I"d prefer to put in the original fitting, not sure how I"ll be able to reach in to attach the lower radiator cover bolt.

Have you done a Google search for "dzus fasteners"? Seems like those were also used extensively in aircraft and also in several of the European cars from many years ago. There are several different sizes of them, so you might have to do some digging, but I think those fasteners are out there somewhere.
 
A large national restoration tractor parts supplier called "Yesterday"s Tractor Company" :)
They list part #R5047 for Farmall A hoods #51144DX and #51148DX. Their records indicate the part is for a Farmall A hood, and have no record of the part working on a Farmall H. The customer service rep suggested I consult the ytmag forum to see if anyone knows if this is the same fitting used on an H. I"d be willing to buy one to see, but they are listed as $42.84 for ONE FITTING.

Ron from Pilot Knob Restorations was great, he verified that all the dzus fasters Farmall used on the A's H's, etc were the same. He charges $17.50 compared to $42+
 
Check with aircraft spruce and specialty co. In the aircraft industry dzeus fastners are usually only a couple of bucks at most.
 
If you live near an airport (smaller is better) that has a repair shop take your dzus with you and you can probably buy a small bag of them for about $10.
They will have round heads instead or your hex.
