Farmall 130 gas tank

I ned a replacement gas tank for a 130. Will any other models fit without modification? Thanks

Hi Bollweevil,
Why do you need a replacement Tank? If you have a leak you can use Red Cote to make the repair. I used it on my Farmall C gas tank and it works great! Just follow the directions on the can or get back with me on how I repaired mine.

I neer a tank because the one I have has been cruched by a barn collapsing on the tractor. Dont think RED COAT can help!

You should be able to go to the Case-IH corporate site and bring up the parts diagrams, and then compare part numbers to find which OTHER models use that same gas tank.

I agree, Red-Kote will not fix a smashed gas tank.

A gas tank from a Super C, 100, 140 or 200 will be indentical

Hummmm! OK your probably right though I wouldn't say it could't be repaired, it just wouldn't be worth the effort.

There is one for sale on here in the photo ads I saw yesterday. It was posted within the last couple days by a gentleman in Alabama I believe. Pretty nice looking tank at a decent price.

So, a gas tank from a Farmall 140 will work on a Super C??? Heck, I've been looking for one for a while and might have to look into that one you mentioned was for sale!! Wonder what he's askin for it?
