Dumb question for you guys. My M has never failed to start. Tonight, while plowing snow, I noticed when I started it, ampmeter read 0, turned on lights it went to -10. is this normal? It made no difference, at idle or full throttle. I'm not an electrican, I'm a machinist.lol
Any help or input is appreciated.

Scott - Any ammeter reading on the "-" (left) side of 0 tells you the battery is DIScharging. IE the generator is not charging the battery. Unless corrected you will soon have a dead battery!
