IH 300 Utility Hydraulic Pump Part

Hi all,

I'm in the process of ordering new seals/gaskets/rings to rebuild my hydraulic pump on my IH 300 Utility. I got the pump all apart so I can see all of the pieces that I need. My problem is that according to my parts manual, the entire ring, seal, and gasket kit has a part number of 356888r92. Of course I can't find the entire kit anywhere, so I'm trying to order the parts listed as being in the kit individually. However, the parts in the kit aren't individually numbered on the diagram so I can't really tell what I'm ordering. The description just says "ring" or "gasket", so I'm left to guess which ring or gasket is which. My question is, does anyone know exactly what part 353185r1 is? It says it's a seal of some sort in my manual, but the places I've called have said it's listed as some sort of "pad" in their catalogs. I don't have anything I would consider a pad in my pump, so I'm trying to figure out what this is and if I need it for my rebuild or not. My pump number is 355515r95. Thanks.

Here is a shot in the dark. It may be a short round rubber plug, about 1/8th inch diameter and 1/4th inch long, that goes into the split of the bearing plates. There is a small drilled hole for it if used in this application. That is the only part not illustrated in the breakdown of that pump, but I can't remember for sure if that is the number of the pump that used it .

I looked at the pump and there is no hole drilled between my bearing plates that I could see. I don't believe there was any part like this in my original pump. Are you sure that part number is for a plug like that? If so, it looks like I don't need that piece for my rebuild.

Thanks.

Am I 100 percent sure, nope. There are so many different configurations of those hydraulic pumps I guess I can not tell you much more about it. If you replace all replacable parts that is all you can do. Good luck.
Come to thing about it , seems to me I threw away a few of those little rubber plugs over the years, wern't needed in all pumps.

OK, I just ordered the parts without that plug. I'm sure I probably ordered a few I didn't need as well since I couldn't see a picture with each part number since they were originally sold as a kit. We'll see how it goes. I appreciate your help.
