cub w/c-60 motor, j-4 magneto, 6v charging system. I have the motor off, and wanna work from the rearend to the front. do I need to split the axels? any help on tearing that area down and what to look for etc. will be greatly appreciated. Maybe i'm going about this the wrong way, if so please let me know and I will change my plan of attack. gentlemen, ladies, thanks so much for your tips, suggestions, and the one or two wise cracks i know i will b reading through also. yeah wise cracks are welcome.... Thanks a bunch

There really isn't a much simpler piece of equipment. I've had virtually everything apart on my cub at one time or another. Can't think of anything in particular to look out for right at the moment.
Have fun with it!

I'm not sure what you're dealing with here. Was there a problem or are you just taking it apart because ??? I'm of the old school that says "if it aint broke, don't fix it", but I'd be looking at things like seals, clutch and pressure plate and the graphite t/o bearing....front and rear seals....that kinda stuff. Change all fluids, flush out the oil pan and filter housing. Tough to give advice when we have no idea what your original intent was. Craig
