IH t-340 engine work in a farmall H?

I have recently found a motor from a t340 dozer, was wondering if it would fit in an old farmall H. I know the 300 series to be the same as the H, but i heard on another post that the crawler motor were different and wouldnt fit. On my t-20 the engine is suppose to be the same as an f-20 besides the fuel pump casting on the side.

You would have to do a lot of bracksmithing to make it work.

The 300 and 350 yes will fit into a H.

The 340 has an engine related to the A, Super C, 130 etc etc.

no,the 40 series after the 50 series is a totally new design.
