F12 manifolds

Looking for opinions about after market F12 intake/exhaust manifolds being sold on eBay. Mine have holes rusted through and need replacing. Is it better to search for a used one? Will the after market manifolds pass the restoration police inspection?
Thanks,
Bill

I replaced the manifold on my O-12 with an aftermarket one (came from the USA but actually made in Taiwan) and cannot see any difference from the original, except that the studs for the exhaust pipe are there and the heat valve actually works which is more than could have been said for the original on the tractor when I got it.

Bill, I have used a after market on one F-12. had no problem it looks new witch it should. You can tell the difference from old and new thats all. oldiron29

So what if the reprodoction doesnt look quite right. As long as it fits and does its job,who cares.F... the 'correct police',all they do is cause trouble, make people feel bad.

apparently they made a gasoline only manifold too. We have a parts tractor on our rock pile that has a much simpler looking manifold. It is in unusable shape, but I hadn"t seen one before.
Today, you might consider installing a gasoline only manifold for simplicity sake. Although the kero/distillate manifold might let you tractor when good gasoline is NLA.
