Part # 'sD-9

i have an i-h parts manual for the w and wd 9's at the shop. i can look up the oem numbers tomorrow, maybe they can cross em over. the case-ih website doesnt seem to have the w series anymore available on line to look up parts.
 
Glennster,I have the parts manual too..I was looking to save some time if someone had the #'s off hand..But I have some other questions for you that I could really use your help on Thanks Tom.

Were you going to pay me, or anyone else, for their time?

Why would you ask a favor from someone on the internet when you could perfectly well do the research yourself? You have a computer. Use it. Better yet, just call the autoparts store and place the order. Tell them to deliver.
 
plowhand, the wd-9 oil filter should be ih p/n 257-867-r92. it looks to cross to a wix number of 5115 or napa number 1155.

the fan belt looks to cross over to a napa number of 25-30484. napa list price 50.98. i will shoot ya an email
 
If I knew the part #'s off hand from a parts store,and you or anyone else wanted them I would gladly give them out.
 
If you have a parts book, get the IH # and go to napa on line. Find the box to put The IH # in then click the interchange dot and if napa shows a listing for that it will come up. Napa store nearest me shows the online belt # as 2530484 for $29.39 the IH # is 48042DB.

I am with Wardner. This post makes it look like "plowhand" is only posting due to laziness. "I was looking to same some time..." really makes me think this. I read, I am too lazy to open the parts book, so I hoped somebody would have the numbers memorized for me. In the time it took him to post and wait for replys he could have had his parts book open and the numbers looked up.

If you go to NAPA they will cross them without IH parts numbers so this whole thread is really irrelevant.
 
Whoa there......back off on the name calling. He was giving good advice here LNOG before your arrival and if history repeats itself...will be when you have moved on to another fad in your life.
 
before this gets too out of hand, i helped plowhand out with his post. the 9 is kind of an odd ball series tractor. the wix filter interchange number that i got for my 9 a while ago looked nothing like the original i-h filter. had an aluminum ring with fins on it. i called the napa i do business with from my shop for a belt for the wd-9. they showed two numbers. one belt was 96 inches long. definately not the right one. Tom called me today at the shop and we discussed the 9 series, some problems and questions he had on the tractor. Very nice fella to talk to. i always try to answer somebodys post as best as i can.
 
Wardner & sflem849 I had the parts book open in front of me..I was getting no where with the IH guy and the guy from NAPA..and as far as being lazy I will out work you 2 combined.. why don't you and wardner go in the outhouse together and have some fun..
