66 series decal ??

Bought another 1466 to put on the planter . We have it in the shop installing a new torque , clutch & brakes . Generally going over it . When I was putting the hoods back on I noticed these decal's under the " Turbo " . They look old enough to be factory but I've never noticed them on any other 66 series . They are Red , White & Blue with 13 stars . Anyone know anything about them ?

No 1466 I ever seen was made with these from factory,I was parts-man for 47 years, Case had some 1370 that were stars & stripes decaled, would guess someone thought these would look nice (ugh).

Never saw one on an IH or Farmall. Back in 1976 a lot of different dealers including Ford and John Deere were handing those out with purchases to celebrate the Bi Centennial. Some had stars and stripes, some had the various seals of the armed forces, some had the US seal on them with the eagle with the arrows and olive branch, but I have never seen a factory decal or sticker of that type on any IH product or any other for that matter.

They are just a decal a former owner added to the tractor. IH DID NOT add extra decals like these at the factory.

Those look very 1976-ish to me.

Former owner being patriotic.
