I am trying to remove the throttle shaft from my 240. I need to redo my dash. Can anyone let me know what or how this is done.

Go to http://www.caseih.com/northamerica/PartsService/Pages/search.aspx. and when you get there follow the instructions and you will find the illustrated parts break down and see how you take it out. LarryT

can't you just pull the throttle lever off the shaft and pull the dash out (once the steering wheel is removed of course)?

Thanks for the response but the throttle handle will not come off. I removed the nut and put on a wheel puller and nothing moved. I wish it could have been simple.

Larry thanks for the info, I wasn't able to enlarge the view enough to see if the shaft is threaded on either or both ends. I will go by my Case/IH dealer next week and look at their sheets and possibly talk to a mechanic, even if they probably haven't worked on my particular problem.
