444 Diesel

I stopped at my local auto parts store and asked for a block heater (frost plug heater) for my 444 diesel. After both of us searching the book none was found.
Does the 444 British Diesel have frost plugs? Am I going to have to use a lower radiator hose heater or a magnetic heater? Thanks.

Try calling Tech Assistance at the Phillips & Temro engine heater company. They MAY know something that's not in the catalog.

Hi we always used a 800W lower rad hose heater on our B-414, 433 and 384 had a dealer installed re-circulating heater.

Kats or Zero Start don't show info because the BD154 is a British engine.

I've got four and use 1500 watt generic self-circulating tank-heaters on all of them. They work great.

A 3414, a B-414, and two B-275s. All have the same basic engine as your tractor.

Do they give you the specs on the plugs on the engine and the specs on the heaters as far as diameters etc? if the diameters are a match the heater should work. LarryT
