Farmall 300 Hydraulic System Problem

I am restoring my late Grandfather's 300 Row Crop. We have been having some issues with the hydraulic system. We don’t think it is the pump, we think we are missing a part in the manifold. I will try to describe it, unfortunately there is no detailed drawing of it in the book that I have.
Where the steel hydraulic lines bolt onto the hydraulic manifold (behind the gages, below the steering wheel), there are two holes in the manifold for the two lines, one smaller and one larger, just like the lines themselves. Is there a machined sleeve or fitting of some sort that slides into the larger diameter hole before the lines are put on? It appears that there may be a need for something like this...

We are not getting hydraulic fluid pumping through the lines. We have a new (old) pump, new filter, and new fluid in the system.

No sleeves. One O-ring for each port. My parts book is a little confusing as it gives the part number in the listing but doesn't show them in the drawing.

350 818 R1
350 684 R1

Measure the diameter of the O-ring land and try to get them locally if you don't an O-ring assortment box.

Austin, try looking on the Case IH website, do a parts search for 300. Pictures and part numbers are there.

Forgot to mention that the right O-rings will fix the problem. The pump is just sucking air at the moment. If it doesn't work, pull the manifold away from the casting and fill both tubes with hydraulic oil using a pump oiler. Might help if the front end of tractor is considerably lower than the rear.
