Retro Styling Tractor

What do y'all think of the retro styled Boomer 8N tractor from New Holland? I wish that CaseIH would come out with a simular retro styled line using the Lowery styling of the letter series tractors as a basis. I believe it would sell well under the Farmall name.

It'san interesting looking tractor. Definetly has a modern twist. They had a new CIH at our fair this year. It was the new ones with the Farmall decal. I wanna say it had a decal on it that said C but I can't quite remember.

CaseIH has the retro Farmall name but not the retro styling. I would like for them to introduce retro styling.

Is it just me, but you don't see any new, small Farmalls out there working. Green & Orange small ones a-plenty. But almost NO Red ones. Any ideas why ?

Well i was disapionted in the Boomer its not at all like the orignal. I agree Case Ih should style a tractor like back in the 60s or 70s.

Thats cause no one is going to pay 10k or better for a 2 wheel drive 4 cyl tractor thats made to look like an N that you can buy for under 2k. Eveyone buying new wants 4x4, diesel, lots of gears or hydro and hydraulics to do just about everything.

The Boomer IS a 4wd.
Would be neat if they put out a retro styled IH...would be the same as a NH but different color and tin would be cool!
Here in Binhamton area of NY, the CaseIH dealers are not strong in the compact market...they give a lil lip service, but Industrial is the push, so like was stated lotsa Orange, Green, and quite a few Blue compacts floatin' around, not too many red ones.
A few years back didn't AGCO introduce a White and then an Oliver badged and painted compact? I thought or heard that if they sold well the intent was to put out an AC too. Never happened, and they never changed the styling to a retro look, just the paint and badging...musta never caught on.
The Boomer is kinda cool...if I had a ton of extra cash I'd get one just to have, but If I were inclined to spend that kinda money on a compact for workin' it would definately be a Kubota...quality, toughness, resale, technology, ease of use, financing options, no one can touch 'em!

Case-IH was a day late and a dollar short in introducing the small Farmalls. Nearly all of the dealers around here were tired of seeing potential customers going the Deere or New Holland dealers, so nearly everyone of them got hooked up with Kubota, and the Kubota proved to be such a dependable and trouble free little workhorse that almost no one will even look at the little Farmalls now.

There are a lot of little red ones around where I grew up... Just not the right color red... They're Massey Fergusons.

Yep. And for the record, I like the Boomer.
