I'm still waiting on some parts fromOEM and a grill from e-bay but she's coming together pretty well

That will definately bring back memories when it's finished. An uncle that lived about 5 miles from us had a WFE SC with F-H and I helped him with baling hay, etc. when I was caught up at home. He was a great guy with a lot of stories (some probably stretched a little) and a big laugh. Our SC was the same with a narrow front. In later years when I was grown and visited him, I noticed the WFE laying in the yard and he had a narrow front on it... never did ask why, but suspect it was worn out and cheaper to replace than fix.
One time years later when I visited he was in the field baling oat straw. I got out of the car and about the second thing he did was tell me to hop on his 560 and finish baling the last load... he'll never know what that meant to an old farm boy.
 
I know what you mean,I grew up on grandpas 53 super c narrow front and thank god I still have it and the fast hitch implements for it. I'll never part with that one. Thanks, Tony
 
Probably not worn out...lotsa wide fronts layin' around in the ding weeds as one of the handiest things about a SC is the agility and turning radius...unless you have wfe which requires approx a football field to turn around in! lol they sure look nice though!
I always get a kick out of the "rare" tag being tossed on a C or Super C with wfe that is for sale...they do seem rare 'cuz ya don't see many around with 'em on...but there are alot of the wfe's layin' around! NICE tractor he has there! Can't wait to see it all done! Pete
