how do you put a car turbo charger on a cub 154 my friend said it could be done and would add up to 7hp

If your looking for power cut the head. I have two cubs a 54 and a 55 in which i cut both heads with great results.

A turbo would be neat and i had given that thought at one time. If you do "do it "post some pics.

A turbo from a motorcycle, or other small engine might work. Remember it is 60 cid and 1450 RPM which does not pump as much air as most small cars. An appropriate turbo would ad HP at the expense of engine life and economy. But all fun has a price. Jim

That is a 50% increase in HP I doubt you're going to get that by just adding a turbo. I would also be wary of the already questionable clutch assembly with 22 HP. Save yourself a lot of headaches and trouble, trade up to a 244 or 254. They are diesel, power steering, 3 pt and standard PTO.
