Congrats Bill. I'd love to have a M. I just haven't run across a deal on one yet. My Dad claims it was the best tractor he ever used. He hasn't used my 766 yet.lol Love the H snow pics. Keep them coming. Kent

Good luck with the new toy. I like that plow setup. Did you build it, and do you have closeup pics of the way it mounts? It is exactly what I want to do to my H.

jason I bought it from a tobacco farmer whose son was tired of plowing the access roads out in the open.He made it himself, very very well made. The frame is in two parts. The nose piece bolts to the bolster, the long frame bolts to the nose piece and to the drawbar.I will try to get some more pictures.Bill

Thank you very much Bill. That will help out tremendously. Of course now that I'm wanting to go ahead and build a plow, we're below average on snowfall for the year! Thanks again Bill, I'll post pics when I get to the project.

Jason even without the snow it will look good on the tractor.I am wondering if my setup will fit on the M.I have a front mounted buzz saw for the H,but I think the frontend on the M is going to be to wide.Any ideas.Where are you located.I am in CT. Bill

Nice plow on that H of yours! We do not have much snow here in Louisiana, but I wonder how it would do as a light bulldozer pushing dirt? I could use that on the back 40 if it would make a light rubber tired dozer.

(quoted from post at 12:42:59 01/05/11) Charles I don't think a H would be good on dirt without a lot of weight on back.Just my oponion,Bill

Totally agreed. They make tracks for a reason.

And even crawlers struggle with hard pack. Anything more than sand or fresh dirt is a fight at best for a old wheel tractor. They are good for piling small brush and cleaning up though. Md MD weighs right at 8000 lb and working any kind of dirt is difficult.
