:?: :?: Has any one but angle snowplow on a W4? I use a H with narrow front and a streight blade. I like the H because it is easer on gas than my 1 ton 454 chwv plowtruck.
thanks howard

An angled blade on the front of either an H or a W4 will only work well IF the snow is relatively light. If the snow is wet and heavy, it will have a tendency to push the tractor sideways instead of the tractor pushing the snow.

My dad made a V blade for our 350U with 1/3-2/3 sized V. This allowed a substantial push to the right, with the second pass in the opposite direction opening a good road width. It also limited the total side force in heavy snow and allowed good progress. Jim
