I am wanting to replace the headlights in an M I am fixing up, my original eggshell style housings are in good shape but both lens are broke I would like to replace with an automotive style lens and bulb all in one 12 volt have tried to find a bulb that fits at the auto parts store but no luck yet one was #4411 but was too small, if anyone has a part number that would fit I would greatly appreciate the help

How loose is the 4411? I would take the housings down to NAPA and see if you can hand fir one to at least close. Then if its slightly loose get yourself some of that silicon tape that adheres to it's self and handles high heat. I see it advertised on TV all the time for sealing hoses and all. There is really nothing new about it, We used to use it on lading lights on Boeing 727 and 737 as part of the replacement procedure to pad the lamp and keep it from getting stuck in the bucket. Happy New Year LarryT
