Farmall Super C three point

I have a 51' Farmall Super C, it has an aftermarket three point hitch unlike any I've seen before.. It connects to the center of the tractor where the two arms are and long lifter arms go back to the axle and three point. Not crazy about the set-up leaves much to be desired.. Does anybody else have a setup like this or one beter to improve upon?

Sounds like one I used to have. I never could get it to work right, either would not raise high enough or not low enough. The arms going to the rockshafts would flex, and eventually broke one, so I replaced with a length of chain which seemed to work better, but still not very good. Also, I had to remove the drawbar to use 3 point, and vice versa. I eventually removed, then sold when I decided it was more trouble than it was worth, and I had two other 3 point tractors anynow. I do like the looks of the saginaw 3 point hitch, but didn't like well enough to part with that many $$. I would rather put a fast hitch on it, and then a converter for the fast hitch if I were to try again.

If the top link bolts to the belt pulley delete plate, it is a bad set up. The belt pulley frame was not intended for that stress load and could crack your rear housing. My uncle had a setup that bolted to the axles as you said but the top link attached to a tube encasing the rock shaft over the top of the belt pulley housing. He was well pleased with it, but he never had a real Ford type 3-point.
