selling my 826,what do you think??

I have a 70' 826 diesel gear drive. The tractor has very good paint, all four tires are practically new, rebuilt head, injectors, pump, new clutch, good ta,dual hydraulics, dual pto, wide front.. There is one issue with this tractor, the shaft seal on the pump is bad so it is leaking fuel into the crankcase. Since i just had the pump overhauled at a local shop last year, this sort of ticked me off. Anyway, its for sale and i would like everyones input of what it might be worth or if anyones interested.. 6500 +/- hrs. I live near Jackson,MI

I would say with the stuff you've got done to it but with the issues it would be around the 7 to 8 thousand range. Maybe more than that depending on how new the tires are.

if i was looking at the tractor, i'd call it a $4000-4500 tractor, with the fuel in the crankcase issue. despite what the seller told me, i would be leery of damage from running it with thin oil. the pumps from the 358s are expensive to work on, which as a buyer, would make me discount the tractor severely. i think it would more than pay you to take the pump (maybe somewhere else if the first guy won't stand behind his work) and get it fixed right before you try to sell it.
