P Suffix

My M serial number plate has a X1 P stamped after the serial number. I know the X1 means gas engine, but what does the P stand for? I have done a search on here, but have had no luck. Thanks!

Only reference I can find for P is in Ken Updike"s book. It says
I PTO with out T/A. My letter series book show"s nothing for the letter P. Hope this is helpful.

Maybe a B that didn't get a good stamp. If so there should be a X1B following the engine serial # with a original engine. B = came equiped for operation around 5000 ft. altitude with higher compression pistons.
