Price for a 544 diesel

I have a 544 deisel that has a cracked crankshaft. This tractor is in real good shape, was painted 7 years ago at a dealership and has good rubber.Also has the wide front end. It is a row crop tractor with a gear drive. The crankshaft cracked last year durning hay season and i went out and bought another tractor. Now I need to get rid of this one and do not know waht price to put on it. Any body have any suggestions.

Bought a 1969 F544 about 5 years ago with loader and 7' rear snow blade for $5500 after a complete engine overhaul. I'm not sure what the diesel option would net you though.

I would think in the 3 grand range. If you can do the repair your self, i would put a new crank in it this winter and it would probally be worth 5 to 6 grand in the spring. Hope this helps. Kent

Billy: You got a great deal on your 544. I think thats a great looking tractor. Love the size of your loader bucket. My loader came with a huge bucket. I'll trade. Kent

Actually it was my dad that parted with the money for the tractor so he's the one that got the good deal...ha ha! I've got enough other red ones to keep myself busy with. It is in the plans next year to roll the 544 in the paint booth after some additional repairs. I'm looking forward to shining the old girl up.
