H and M values

I am hoping someone can give me their opinion on the value of a wide front farmall h with a loader and a narrow front m both tractors have good tires but rough paint the m was in use this summer but died in the field and was dragged back to its parking spot by the barn the h has been parked for about 4 years. Both of these tractors belong to my uncle and he has remarked several times about selling them to me but I do not know a fair offer to make on them.

Thanks in advance for any opinions
Denis

I would say 1500 or somewhere close for the H and 1000 for the M. If you think there's something really wrong with the M maybe a little less than that

I was just thinkin just to be clear why I would say the H is worth more is because of the bucket. The price going down would apply the same to both if something like the engines are froze

If you have been on the inside of the good graces of the uncle, Why not work them off, or trade something you do for them. i would set up a restoration plann, research costs of components and paint, then discuss the idea of a contribution that keeps them in the family. Be clear and make sure the plan is in writing as a plan of action, and you might get them free. Jim

Hope you have an uncle like mine... I tried to offer him fair scrap value for a 2-bottom little genius. He wouldn't take it.

He talked me down to a mere fraction of what I offered, and then Dad practically had to duct tape the money to him and run to get him to take it...
