Thanks Hal, I"ve been wanting to restore this tractor for several years. Finally my neighbor accepted and let me do it. It has been fun to do this one because I worked for his dad when I was in grade school and used to hay cows with this tractor in the winter. Believe it or not it used to have a loader on it and we would "herd" a round bale out to the cows with it. It"s been a lot of work but it"s been a blast to do also and the neighbor is very happy so far.

Looks great so far! Can't wait to see the finished product. What kindof paint are you using? Your "paint booth" looks bigger than mine, but just about as fancy. How warm is it inside while you're painting?

Ben, I"m only using the Valspar paint from the local farm store but I use a reducer and hardener from the local paint shop. It"s a little more expensive but the paint definitely lays down better. I keep it around 68 to 70 in the shop while I"m painting and try to keep it that temp for at least three hours after shootin the paint. I turn the furnaces down to 45 for the night and that doesn"t seem to cause me any trouble but I let everything cure for 2 days before handling it very roughly. I"ll keep some pics up as I go. Thanks, Tony
