Well I have decided to use IH2150 on my H. The tractor has been primed with Valspar gray primer.I am hopeing the two are compatable??????

Did you block sand that primer? Try doing some block sanding on the hood to see if the primer is really hard. If it's ready to paint it will sand into dust quickly. If you just get grey mud on you block it's not ready. Valspar and IH primers are finicky about curing.

I think I have done that very thing with no problems, but you may want to try a "sample" piece just to be sure.
