Super H - water pouring into oil pan.

Engine apparently froze and busted. I have removed head and oil pan. How are sleeves removed to try to find where water is pouring into oil pan? Thanks!

Try filling it back up with water with the pistons out and see if one of the sleeves has a crack in it before you go takin out the sleeves.

I got into the habit of using a skim of Hylomar on the gasket as a coating and then letting it dry before putting everything together. The Hylomar gets tacky ( and remains that way) and really seems to help with leaks and shifting gaskets.

I got on to Hylomar through my love of old Triumph motorcycles and if will keep the oil inside one of those, a Farmall should be a piece of cake!

Careful tightening to draw the cover down evenly is a must as well.

Regards
