IH2444 Water Pump

Hello,

New guy here. The fan blade on my IH2444 Diesel is wobbling/loose and I suspect the water pump is going south. It is not leaking though.

I called a dealer for a replacement part and they say it is only sold in pieces(My repair manual doesn't include engine parts for me to confirm this). Ie - bearing, seal, oring, gasket, impeller, etc......all for the low, low price of $175.00!!!

Does this sound correct???

Anyone have a part number or parts break down???

After market pumps are about $100 and kits about $55.
 

Excellent information..........thank you. I don't see a complete water pump though.

The water pump is also available from Sparex and I fitted one on a customers tractor last week. When you fit the fan belt do not tighten it over tight as it will oveload the water pump bearing. MJ
 
There are 2 different pumps for a 2444 one for the c-153 and 1 for the bd -154. I have them for $112 or $98 plus core exchange with 1 year warranty. Built and vacuum tested by me.
