SMTA LIGHTS

I see SMTA's with sealed beam ( flat )lights and what appear to be the older styled ( round case )lights. Did they come both ways or should all SMTA's have the flat style sealed bean lights?
Thanks

THe stock of Bullet lights ran out in about the end of the 1952 production on Hs and Ms (probably others as well. All SMTA had pancake lights (I guess they could have been ordered W/O lights, but not likely. Jim

Anything after late '52 or early '53 should have the "pancake" lights with the sealed beam bulbs.

Like rustred says, though, you never know what got stuck on the tractor over the years... Dad's W400 came with the old bullet style lights which are completely wrong.

SMTA should be the flat lights. My Super C parts book shows a date when the lights changed styles. I think it was around april 1953, don't feel like hunting for the book right now.
