hydraulic quick connect

I have too repair hydraulic line for snow plow on my H.Would quick connect work alright.I thought I saw something here a while back saying not to use them on H & M systems.Info will be a great help. Thanks Bill

My H has had them for over 20 years they works fine.

I know of quick connects on Hs and Ms that have been in use for 50 to 60 years.

Why wouldnt they work as they sure have for the last 70 pluss yrs. Where did something like this get started.

They came with quick connects to the rear for implements from the factory.
FYI - Some of the newer vaccum planters out there require some funky hydraulic setups like zero pressure returns etc.
