Where is the best place to get parts for my Farmall 460 PTO - mainly clutch plates. I have two - new and old styles. Thanks for any assistance.

The old style does not have clutch plates, it uses bands. $500+ each from CaseIH, about $100 used from external_link. I don't know what the disks for the later PTO cost, as I don't have one.

If you are going to repair or replace, you have to know what IPTO was installed at the factory. Planetary or clutch type. From what you said, you have one of each. The gear sets up in the center section of the tractor are different and it affects the IPTO speed.

I think you will find it is cheaper to not to repair. Replace with a complete used unit. There should be a few on eBay right now. If you can wait, there will be a good selection and maybe one of them will be near you.
