Front Tires

I have a 706 with 6.50X16 front tires. Tires are worn out, what are my Options for putting new ones on? Can I go with wider type flotation tires? Would I need to change rim size or Hubs? I have a wide front, I understand the spindles are the same size, but different hubs will fit?

6:50 x 16 or 7:00 x 16 should both work with your present rims. I would not try any wider as they may rub and be too wide for the rim if you use your present rims.

we have 9.50 x 15L on our 806, we flipped the rims so that the tires didn"t rub, not sure what size the rims are though.

For some dumb reason, I put 7.50's on my MTA with Schwartz wide front. They are to big, and they do rub a bit. Not the end of the world, but I would like to trade em off. Shoulda stuck with the 7.00's or 6.50's

A 7:00x16" tire will be about as big as you can go on that rim without rubbing. If you want to go to a wider tire you'll need to get a set of offset rim. Back in the day I had a 656 wfe that I put 9-5Lx15s on. Tires & rims came off a gravity flow wagon.
