I am sorry if I did not post this right , but I have been given an offer to buy a cub that is a high version. Like an a AV. I was told they are rare but I have never seen them. Is this a joke or did they make a few of them?
Is the price for 1200.00 good since it runs and has everything?

Thanks for your input

Todd

The factory high-clear version had 15 inch front wheels and 30 inch rear. It made tractor slightly higher. No doubt there are some one-off shop modified units. Or it may just be a standard Cub with a confused owner. If it runs and drives well, the price is not bad. Most sell for more in my area.

He knows his tractors, and I bought a few from him. If I get 1000.00 out of it can I resell it. Wife dosenot like a lot of tracors around.

Hard to tell if its even factory original or has been altered for someones use need to know your Cubs to tell if its factory original.

Look at the serial number plate. It sounds like a regular cub to me. I think some guys refer to the regular cub as a cub high-boy as apposed to the cub low-boy. What do you mean, "has everything"? and where are you located. Makes a big difference. If it runs good, in decent shape and has attachments, I would say that's a very good price.

Does it have 30 inch rear wheels and 15 inch front wheels? If not, it is a regular Cub.

$1200 for a running, driving Cub, even with minor problems, is a GREAT price.

My understanding of Cub lore is that there is technically no such thing as a "high clearance" Cub as a separate model like the AV.

The larger wheels and tires are part of a "high and wide" option package that was installed at the dealer. If the package is complete, there will be spacers on the rear wheels to set them out wider than stock.

The cub is located in southern Mi. He called me today and said $1,000.00 it is mine. He his going to email me the serial number in a few days. It was repainted within the last few years and said that it is in great shape. I will see if he will email me photos so I can share them with you all.

Just have to decide if I want a cub or just buy it and then resell it.
