international 504 hyd oil and emblems

Will Traveler iso 46 hyd oil be ok in a 504 and does anyone know where I can purchase the left and right side 504 emblems.

Try J. Foreman in Westfield, Indiana regarding the emblems. I know he deals in number series emblems and restores them to like new condition and sells them. He has the 140,240, etc emblems; but I don't know about the 504. I bet he would have an answer if he doesn't have them. Check and see, and let us all know!!!

Yes, I have 504 emblems here at this time for Gas, Diesel, Lp Gas, Hi-Clear, Diesel Hi-Clear versions of the 504 series as well as 2504 emblems.

The Tractor Supply Co. Traveler All Season Hydraulic Oil ISO 46 is not recommended for transmission/ differential use. It is strictly for hydraulic system ( log splitter , etc. ) use. You should use Traveler Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid in your 504 because transmission lube system and hydraulic system are one and the same.

Thanks RTR, Jeff tells me he has the emblems I need so now all I have to do is persuade the better half to let me purchase them.

Thanks for the info Weldon. I will replace the hyd oil with hyd/trans oil this week.
