H4 mag. parts

Does anyone know what after market parts are out there for the H4 mag.(pts.,cond. etc.)I have a 45 A.

I have bought stuff from NAPA and Carquest for Mags before. They had it all!

It's all available. Just do a google search for "Farmall magneto".

You can get them from the supplier of this forum. Just go to the left and click on tractor parts.

You can get almost everything new.

Coil
Points/condenser
distributor cap
coil cap
bearings
gaskets
impulse pawls/springs
impulse spring

Rustyfarmall can get most of these parts for you. I buy all my H4 mag rebuild parts from him.

Yes almost every piece is still available. Most replacement coil covers won't have the IHC logo on the them. They are still available from just a couple places but they have a higher price.
